Off-Topic » Samurai anime

Shigurui is a wonderful samurai anime, too. Despite the open ending, this show is a must watch. Samurai 7 is another great anime in this genre.

Have her read Battle Royale if she's into gore...XD Or next time you may watch Shigurui. Although, I must say, watching Human Centipede is already disturbing enough...XP You might as well want to watch Thirst if you're into some bloodshed...XD

Off-Topic » Theism vs Atheism

Well, I'm an atheist, but most of time I keep that to myself. Unless someone directly asks me I don't go on bragging about that I don't believe in God. Personally, I don't believe in God or religions cuz for me it's too damn clear they were created by humans for humans. Plus, I think it's a lot more important believing in yourself and those dear to you than in some God. Here in Brazil, the religious people are a lot more annoying than the atheists. Just by having long hair and wearing bands shirts and passing in front of a church is already enough to listen to all kind of crap. I have no problems coexisting with religious people, as long as they keep quiet as I do. My father is catholic, my mother and grandmother are kardecists, my ex-girlfriend and her family were evangelicals, the key point is respecting others' beliefs. I'm not worried about what others believe as long as I'm confident about what I believe.

are you insane? if a dude finds out his best friend is gay, hes not talking to him period "
Actually, my two best friends are gay o.o I have two gay friends, two lesbians, three bi and a couple of straight friends, too o.o
They don't worry about my sexual orientation (I'm straight) why should I worry about theirs? It's not like they stopped being human beings just cuz they have a different sexual orientation o.O

Off-Topic » what do you think about suicide?

Well, I always try to carefully analyse one's situation before jumping to a conclusion. It's true that suicide is an escape as much as secluding yourself completely from the world or believing that revenge will solve something.

The most important thing when it comes to this reactions is understanding the factors that can lead someone into doing these things. Only by doing this can we try avoiding these unwanted attitudes.
Saying that someone is a coward after killing him/herself is simple. But if we stop to think, aren't the people close to the suicide responsible, as well?
To be quite honest if someone pretty close to me killed him/herself I'm sure I'd take some of the blame for not noticing anything nor trying to do anything. I don't think one is fully responsible for one's actions. The same way I think society is responsible for so many crimes happening - not the criminal only, I think the people close to a troubled person, or even the society (take bullying, for example, or Japanese's society pressure when it comes to work) might as well be responsible for overreactions, such as suicide.
