I wonder what they will do when Mega Mewtwo comes out. Mewtwo is already a really strong card by itself. It seems like a Mega Mewtwo card will be overkill.
@Daniel_Newton: Nice Doctor Who pun. You are indeed a fan.
My favorite Doctor is Matt Smith and Amy. They say that the Doctor you see first is the one you will like the most, but I saw Matt Smith last out of all the Doctors in the reboot series. Before getting on the Doctor Who train, I had seen a couple episodes with the other Doctors when it was on TV (The Empty Child, The End of the World, Voyage of the Damned), but season 5's final episodes were the ones that blew me away. I didn't know much about the Doctor Who universe back then, but even I knew that the chips were down in those final episodes. I also liked Season 5 and onward because, the series got a bigger budget so they did not have to do shortcuts such as the body double in the season 2 finale. From what I heard, season five's writers also got a freer hand with the writing. It was rumored that Russell T. Davies, head writer of the first 4 seasons, was a real control freak in the writing room. It's been said that he would go through his writer's work and make extensive edits.
As for Amy, I like how smart she is and she looks really pretty. She also was a change of pace from the usual companion. At the point in the series, the main companions were love interests for the Doctor. After watching four season, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Amy was not going to hook up with the Doctor. It felt refreshing.
The new Plasma Blast packs and theme decks are out and I am pumped after taking a look at the theme decks. I think I want to save up for a Solar Strike theme deck, but the Mind Wipe one looks good too.
The new expansion looks pretty solid. Now I'm not sure if I want to save up for a theme deck or a booster pack.
@Daniel_Newton: In that battle in the screencap, my opponent and I only had one prize card left. When he knocked out my pokemon, his attack had a recoil that knocked out his pokemon as well. Then sudden death was initiated. During sudden death, they restart the battle, but you and your opponent only have only prize card.
Alongside the already-announced trio of Mewtwo, Blaziken and Lucario, a new trailer reveals the mega forms of Ampharos, Absol and Mawile, and explains how Mega Evolution will work.
Additionally, over the weekend at the Pokemon World Championships, it was announced by Game Freak director Junichi Masuda that Kangaskhan would also be able to Mega Evolve. Doing so releases its child from its pouch, and unlocks the ability 'Parental Bond' that allows two attacks in a single turn.
You're all wrong! Ash's true love is Latias. She kissed him in Pokemon Heroes. Although, the movie does not tell you if it is Bianca or Latias who kissed Ash.
It's often not brought to the forefront, but Pokemon has alot of complex systems. One of them is the effort system which determines how your Pokemon's stats boost when they level up. The more effort points a pokemon has in one particular area the more points it will get when it levels up. For example. your charmander gets 4 attack points per level. If it gets a protein, it will get 5 attack points added to its total attack power; as you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal. It is for this reason that items like Protein and Iron are such useful items; they boost the base stat of the Pokemon That means that the Pokemon won't get an immediate stat boost, but in the long run your pokemon will get more powerful than if a protein had immediately given your Pokemon +1 attack. As you can see, this is pretty complex stuff and has been hidden in the game from at least since Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Now the new Pokemon XY games will try to make these things less subtle.
