They will probably stage a revolution against humans like Mewtwo did in the first movie since they have intellect.

  • Dammit video game! I just destroyed those last 5 trainers in expert mode and you're telling me none of them were worth 10 tokens.
  • Yay! I'm winning. That means I'll get my 10 tokens. jk. The other guy quit. No tokens for me.
  • The Hypnotoxic Laser Card - Heads, my pokemon is asleep and poisoned. Tails, my pokemon is not asleep, but it's still poisoned. It's even worse with the virbank card.

It's okay. It's going to be more efficient working at Screened.

You can add the new characters that I missed at Screened:

  • Vaatu
  • Wan
  • Raavi

That wouldn't be a good idea. I just added those characters half an hour ago.

@AnimeDefender: Those Brazilians might as well just import the PS4 from somewhere else. The import tax is more likely cheaper than a $4000. It's a good thing the PS4 is not region locked, but that will still mean bad sales in Brazil.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted the new sonic game to be good!

  • CVG: 7/10 – It’s a shame that there are just too many niggly bits, control flaws and frustrating moments to simply pass off as flukes, meaning Lost World will ultimately go down as merely a good Sonic game rather than the exceptional one it constantly threatens to be.
  • Destructoid: 7.5/10 – Lost World, like so many Sonic games, has caused me to yell in anger and give up in frustration. Unlike most of the "modern" installments, however, it’s also regularly thrust itself back into my favor with excellent level structuring and excitingly paced action. For every awful segment that fails, there are at least two that succeed. While I have snarled angrily at the game, I’ve smiled with delight a lot more. I must once again emphasize that the game’s new attitude takes some warming up to, but as soon as it clicks with you, it’s hard to hate.
  • Edge: 4/10 – Sonic games, and platformers in general, have always been about memorising the lay of the land, but rarely have mistakes been so costly or heavily punished, and it says much that one retailer’s preorder bonus consists solely of 25 additional lives. This isn’t a question of difficulty, but of design: unfortunately for Sonic, people who have grown up with Nintendo hardware have come to expect much better than this.
  • Eurogamer: 4/10 – It’s telling that the highlights of Lost World are the moments where Sonic Team allows the hedgehog to do what he does best: high-velocity platforming that tests your ability to follow high-speed action and to reflexively respond to danger. Yet these brief flickers of life are few and far between, buried within a flabby, disjointed mess of a game.
  • Game Informer: 5/10 – Last generation’s Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors were both poor attempts to fuse 2D and 3D platforming, and it’s sad to see Sonic Team fail to improve following those stumbling points. Lost World’s obvious inspiration from Super Mario Galaxy appeared to be a step in the right direction, but the core game is sub-par even by Sonic’s standards.
  • GamesRadar: 4/5 – Sonic Lost World feels like a Sonic game, works like a Mario game, and feels totally at home on the Wii U as a result. With the most convincing 3D Sonic gameplay by some margin, it’ll no doubt be looked back on as the game that aimed for the Galaxy, missed by a small amount, but still landed in the stars.
  • GameSpot: 5/10 – There were moments when I thought it might all come together, when Sonic’s fun, if slightly erratic, speed would be matched to levels that were intelligently designed to make the most of it. There were some brief glimpses of that, but for the most part, Sonic Lost World is confused and derivative, and tries far too hard to be clever without any clever design to back it up.
  • IGN: 5.8 – Sonic Lost World lacks speed, precision and fluidity making it a big step back for the Blue Blur.
  • Joystiq: 2.5/5 – Sonic: Lost World tries to shift the series in a new direction, and the results meet with limited success, especially in earlier levels. Its gameplay variety is appreciated up to a point, but Sonic: Lost World misses the mark more often than it succeeds, as frustrating level design and
  • VideoGamer: 5/10 – Sonic: Lost World occasionally seems really good. It looks lovely, some of the earlier levels are pretty fun to speed through (they flip between 2D and 3D like Sonic Generations) and he doesn’t awkwardly smooch any humans like in the 2006 abomination. But for every section where you think things might look up, there are two or three that make you wish he was roadkill.

@takashichea: Wasn't there also an OP shot of L-Elf? We're probably find some shots when Random Curiosity uploads the op screenshots. He/She didn't upload any screenshots of the OP in the last episode because they didn't play the OP.

#Anime Vice Discussion Threads » Valvrave the Liberator Discussion

@takashichea: That girl who groped Akir'a breast is named Marie Nobi. I actually laughed at scene because it was pretty silly. I'm guessing the animators didn't have enough content to fill up 24 minutes and used that scene to take up time. You could have ripped that scene out and you still would have understood what had happened. Actually, the scene would have flowed alot better. They literally stopped in the middle of something to do that and then suddenly they remembered that they were doing a character developing moment.

There were other pointless scenes in the episode. Like that part where Raizou Yamada started flashing his chest. That scene was probably fan service for the ladies. Though, I'm not sure why they didn't use a more popular character like L-Elf or Haruto for that. All in all, it seemed like a typical Valvrave episode.

Off tangent: Can you bump the Supernatural discussion thread?

Doing that right now.

Episode 13

“I’m going to feed on no one but you, L-elf” - Haruto

This was practically a gift wrapped present to anyone shipping Haruto x L-elf, especially the erotic kind.

Otherwise, nothing much happened.

Episode 14

That pink haired princess from L-Elf's past returns and she's...looking like she hasn't aged a day since L-Elf was a kid. That scene went by pretty fast, so I might have not seen it correctly. But for now, I'm just going to assume that the princess at the end is a robot copy and that the real princess had died long ago.

Also, more Valvrave-ish shenanigans happened this episode.

(Pictures coming soon)

Battles » Who in anime can run the Doctor Who gauntlets?

@SMXLR8: It's a show about a Time Lord who travels with a bunch of human in a police box that can travel through time and space. They have adventures battling evil aliens (and humans), exploring worlds, and seeing places in different time periods. I would say the series is worth watching. It's a fun adventure with some bits of humor. If you want to get into the series, I would start with the reboot series. It's the most recent one and easiest to get a hold of. Plus, many of the classic episodes are missing and are considered "lost episodes." If you want to know more, head over to the Doctor Who Club Thread. We're always excited to see new people interested in the series.

@AnimeDefender: I played Kingdom Hearts 1,Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2. As you can probably tell, Kingdom Hearts 2 didn't really click with me the way the other two did. I'm really hoping that the franchise comes back to its roots.
