Professor Layton started out mainly as a game, Recenly a manga entitled Professor Layton And The Cheerful Mystery, was published in February in Corocoro comics, To my kowledge it is still waiting English translation and is an ongoing monthly series following Professor Layton a skilled puzzle sovler and his youg helper luke. There is also talks of a Anime series coming in late 2009, As we get more details we will update the page.
