For those of you (like yours truly) who have been wondering if there would be another season of one of the most awesome animes ever, rumors have popped up on a couple of blogs (see here and here) that a third season of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is in development right now. At AnimeNEXT during a panel with Production IG key animator Satoru Nakamura along with storyboarder and episode director Koudai Kakimoto let slip that a new season of the show was in the works. The former blog calls it "unofficially announced," so take from that what you will.

Well folks, are you excited? You should be! If you have not seen either of the first two seasons, get thee to a DVD place and watch them. Now.

Finally the real first episode of Kimi ni Todoke season 2 is here and it still holds that same heart warming feeling. All of our favorite characters are back, Ryuu Sanada, Ayane Yano, Chizuru Yoshida, Pin, Ume Kurumizawa (As if), and our number one couple Sawako Kuronuma and Shouta Kazehaya \(^_^)/ Visually the show has indeed gotten a upgrade with lot more detailed textures in the environments and characters, smoother movements on character, and a lot more colorful like the bright blue mornings and the orange reds of the evening. Story so far continues Sawako's journey to discovering her love for Kazehaya-kun but their bonds will be tested as Kento Miura (Miyano, Mamoru O_o Galactic Pretty Boy!?) will be intervening on their relationship.

So glad to see this show return and looking forward to more.
