Hawaiian Fighting Machine!

Prince Kamehame was unstoppable. With 999 title defenses under his belt and a cool head, he was known as Hawaii's greatest choujin. But during his 1000th title defense, he was beaten by the slef-proclaimed Master of Move Reversion Jesse Maivia. Kamehame became Maivia's servant until Suguru Kinniku arrived in Hawaii looking to start his reign in the American Choujin League. Kamehame told him that if Suguru could beat him, he would be ready to face Maivia. However, during their match, Suguru barely lasted several seconds with the beast. Kamehame took a liking to Suguru though and was impressed that he lasted so long. He agreed that he would teach Suguru his 48 Killer Techniques in order to beat Maivia. One match later, and Suguru became the best choujin in Hawaii.

Kamehame later appeared under the mask of Kinnikuman Great and joined Suguru as his tag team partner in the Dream Tag Team championship tournament. Their first match was against the five-dimensional manipulator Pentagon and his cousin Black Hole, who was part of the first wave of demon choujin led by Buffaloman. Pentagon and Black Hole demonstrated their abilities to alter time, break dimensional barriers, and even switch the arrangement of attacks. For instance, Kinnikman Great could have been about to punch Black Hole. But with Pentagon turning the star on his mask in a certain direction, it suddenly became Black Hole who was punching Kinnikuman Great! The match was a grueling one and it seemed to be in no one's favor. However, while in Black Hole's pocket dimension, Kinnikuman Great hatched the idea of using the Muscle Docking technique. Leaping out to catch Pentagon in a Kinniku Buster, Suguru with Black Hole in the Kinniku Driver, Kinnikuman Great sat on Suguru's shoulders as they crashed into the mat, winning by knockout.

The Muscle Brothers, as they were called, then fought the resurrected Sunshine and Ashuraman, two demon choujin who once worked for a powerful demon general named Akuma Shogun. The Perfect Choujin Combo, Screw Kid and Kendaman, were observing the competition after disposing of Brocken Jr. and Wolfman. Ashuraman and Sunshine took a reasonable lead because of their size and strength and the fact that they had stolen most of the justice choujin's Friendship Power. But, this might have led to their downfall as they began to feel emotions and Ashuraman even began to cry and say that most people think demon choujin don't have friends, but they do. This was contradicted by Screw Kid who, sitting upon a turnbuckle, said that emotions were for the weak. Ashuraman and Sunshine reverted back to their evil selves and tried to defeat the Muscle Brothers once and for all, but they were caught in the Muscle Docking combo technique and beaten. Unfortunately, Kamehame was fatally wounded by Sunshine and was carried backstage by Terryman. As he was dying, Kamehame gave Terryman the mask of Kinnikuman Great and told him to fight hard in his place. Terryman put on the mask and could fight like Kinnikuman Great, learning how to use the Muscle Docking technique with Suguru in the process.

Five Fated Princes Arc

Although Prince Kamehame's role in the Scramble for the Throne Arc (otherwise known as the Five Fated Princes Arc) was small, it played a pivotal role and a turning point in a losing match Suguru Kinniku was fighting against the cybernetic choujin-hunter Omegaman. Omegaman had hunted choujin for enormous sums of money while searching Hell for powerful opponents to fight. This made a connection between himself on Earth and the world beyond. He allowed his body to become avatar to the spirit of Prince Kamehame while he was still in control of the body's mental functions. Kamehame's spirit was too strong, however, and used Omegaman's arrogance to come back to life for a time. During the remainder of the match, Kamehame taught Kinnikuman the rest of his 100 Killer Techniques and then set himself up for the Complete Muscle Spark. Omegaman was utterly beaten and Kinnikuman went on to face the toughest opponent of his career: Kinnikuman Super Phoenix.
