The Power Pole is an indestructible magical staff that can extend to extreme lengths.
The Power Pole was originally used to connect Korin Tower and Kami's Lookout. Korin gave it to Master Roshi who then presumably gave it to his student Son Gohan, who later passed it down to Goku.
