Ash's Bayleef

The second Pokemon Ash captured while in the Johto region originally as a Chikorita. Bayleef has a crush on Ash and is constantly fighting for his attention and approval.

Ash's Boldore

The eight Pokemon Ash caught while in the Unova Region. Roggenrola came seeking assistance in helping rescue it's friends from Team Rocket. It found Ash and after he helped him decided to join him on his journey.

Ash's Bulbasaur

The first of the original three starter Pokémon caught by Ash. It refuses to evolve.

Ash's Butterfree

Ash's first captured Pokémon, caught as a Caterpie, it quickly evolved into Metapod and the Butterfree in only a handful of episodes.

Ash's Charizard

One of Ash's most powerful Pokémon, Charizard brings Ash some of the most powerful offensive attacks out of all his Pokemon.

Ash's Froakie

The first Pokemon Ash captured while in the Kalos Region.

Ash's Gible

The fifth Pokemon Ash Caught while in the Sinnoh Region. Gible has a habit of eating things whole or biting people when it is happy.

Ash's Gliscor

A Ground/Flying type Pokemon Belonging to Ash. Gliscor was the fourth Pokemon Ash caught in the Sinnoh region as a Gligar.

Ash's Haunter

Ash's 8th Pokemon. Ash hoped Haunter would be able to beat Sabrina's Kadabra, but Haunter served a different role in the battle, but was still crucial to Ash's victory. After the battle Ash left Haunter with Sabrina so it could continue to make her happy.

Ash's Heracross

The first Pokemon Ash caught while in the Johto region.

Ash's Infernape

Infernape originally belonged to Paul when it was a Chimhcar but released it after proving to be to weak. Ash offered him the choice of joining him on his journey. While under Ash's care it evolved into Monferno and finally Infernape.

Ash's Kingler

The seventh Pokemon caught by Ash Ketchum (sixth if you don't count Pikachu) Caught as a Krabby but evolved during the first round of the Pokemon League tournament where it went undefeated single handedly defeating all three of Ash's opponent's Pokemon.

Ash's Krookodile

The Ninth Pokemon Ash captured while in the Unova (Isshu) Region. Krokorok has met Ash various times through out his journey through the Unova region constatnly trying to challenge Pikcahu. Finnally Ash offered it the choice to join him to which he agreed.

Ash's Lapras

The Lapras trained by Ash Ketchum caught on the Orange Islands, Lapras was Ash and companies primary mode of transportation while travelling the Orange Islands and one of the six Pokemon he used when he won the Orange League tournament's championship.

Ash's Leavanny

The sixth Pokemon Ash captured while in the Unova Region. While in a Gym Match against the third Gym Leader Burgh, Sewaddle evolved into Swadloon.

Ash's Muk

The Muk caught and trained by Ash Ketchum. It smells horrible, so much so that the smell seeps out of the poke ball when Muk is inside, for this reason alone, Ash usually does not keep Muk with him and only uses it in tournaments and gym battles.

Ash's Noctowl

A Shiny Noctowl Ash captured and trained while in the Johto Region.

Ash's Oshawott

The Second Pokemon Ash obtained while in the Unova region. Oshawott was originally one of the Starter Pokemon Professor Junpier gave to new trainers but he left the lad and decided to follow Ash.

Ash's Palpitoad

The seventh Pokemon Ash captured while in the Unova Region. It was the leader of a group of lake Pokemon and attacked Ash and Oshawott while they were looking for a underwater plant to cure their Pokemon from being poisoned.

Ash's Pidgeot

Pidgeot was Ash's third Pokémon, he caught it in Viridian Forest as a Pidgeotto.

Ash's Pignite

The Third Pokemon Ash caught while in the Isshu Region.

Ash's Pikachu

Ash's first Pokémon, Pikachu is always with Ash on his adventures.

Ash's Primeape

The Primeape caught by Ash Ketchum, he only had this Pokemon briefly before giving it to another trainer he thought would be better suited to train it. It liked to steal Ash's hat. First seen as a Mankey. It was his 9th Pokemon.

Ash's Sceptile

The second Pokemon Ash caught while in the Hoenn Region. He originally caught him as a Treecko and evolved into Grovyle then finally Sceptile.

Ash's Scraggy

The fifth Pokemon Ash received as a egg while in the Unova Region. Scraggy is a eager Pokemon that has a habit of headbutting anybody he meets and tries challenging others to improve he strength.

Ash's Snivy

The Fourth Pokemon Ash caught while in the Unova region. Snivy is one of Ash's strongest Pokemon so far and is able to use the move Attract and many other powerful attacks.

Ash's Snorlax

The Snorlax Ash Ketchum caught on the Orange Islands. It has proved to be one of his strongest Pokémon... When it is awake, that is.

Ash's Squirtle

The leader of the "Squirtle Squad" and one of Ash's first Pokémon. Squirtle had many adventures with Ash and friends before rejoining the squad later in the series.

Ash's Staraptor

The first Pokemon Ash Caugh while in the Sinnoh Region, originally as a Starly.

Ash's Torterra

The second Pokemon Ash caught while in the Sinnoh region, originally as a Turtwig.

Ash's Unfezant

The first Pokemon Ash's captured while in the Unova region. She later evolved into Tranquil when in Castelia City while helping with the Venipede Problem.

Blue's Charizard

Given to Blue as a Charmander by Professor Oak, however it was not his first Pokémon as he already had a Scyther.

Brock's Chansey

A Normal type Pokemon belonging to Brock. Brock originally received Happiny as a egg after winning a Cosplay Contest. Towards the end of the series Happiny evolved into Chansey.

Brock's Croagunk

A Poison/Fighting type Pokémon. Was caught by Brock in the anime and is usually seen punching him with his poison jab move when flirting with woman.

Brock's Crobat

Zubat is Brock's third Pokémon, which later evolves into a Crobat.

Brock's Geodude

One of Brock's Rock type Pokémon.

Brock's Sudowoodo

A Rock Type Pokemon Brock caught as a Bonsly while traveling with Ash in Kanto for his Battle Frontier challenge. Bonsly evolved into Sudowoodo during his time in the Sinnoh region.

Brock's Vulpix

Brock's fourth Pokémon.

Casey's Meganium

Meganium is Casey's first pokemon. She received it from Professor Elm as Chikorita.

Cilan's Crustle

The second Pokemon belonging to Dento. Ishizumai decided to go with Dento after he and his friends helped it reclaim it's shell from another Ishizumai.

Cilan's Pansage

A Pokemon belonging to Dento. Dento used Yanappu for his gym matches.

Cilan's Stunfisk

A Stunfisk that was captured by Dento in episode 35 of Pokemon: Best Wishes. It was friends with Ash's newly caught Palpitoad and was sent to attack Ash and Oshawott. Dento used his fishing skills to beat and capture Stunfisk.

Clefairy

A normal-type pokemon. Also is Isamu Akai's best poke-friend.

Cresselia

A Legendary Psychic type Pokemon known for its abilities for giving good dreams to others.

Dawn's Ambipom

A Normal type Pokemon that orignally belonged to Ash but was traded to Dawn for her Buizel. While in her possession Aipom evolved.

Dawn's Buneary

A Normal Type Pokémon belonging to Dawn. Buneary was the first Pokémon Dawn caught (second in all). It is revealed that Buneary has a crush on Ash's Pikachu.

Dawn's Cyndaquil

A Fire type Pokemon belonging to Dawn. The Seventh Pokemon she obtained as a egg in a contest she won. It hatched into a Cyndaquil and later evolved into a Quilava.

Dawn's Mamoswine

Dawn's sixth Pokémon, it's personality changed when it evolved into it's final form.

Dawn's Pachirisu

The third Pokémon Dawn caught on her journey.

Dawn's Piplup

Piplup is Dawn's first Pokémon.
