My favorite would be Flannery. She was the only gym leader to have an entrance into the world of pokemon that unique. If you will think back every other leader was very experienced and new EXATLY what they were doing. She on the other hand, had no experience for the directer had just enstated her the gym leader barely 1 week from the day ash challenged her and she wasn't shure wether she would win or lose. All the other gym leaders think right off the bat that they will win. Flannery has a very strong will and a desire to prove herself. She did not inherit the gym, she had to take a test given by the director and even though she has proved herself over and over she is still being constantly monitored by Winona.... well, that's the directors orders, Winona and Flannery are great friends and thier friendship has incresed ever since Winona and Wallace got married.
