There’s been a week of teasing since the last episode of Pokemon aired in Japan this past Sunday. A week of rumor. A week of speculation.
All because of one maddeningly-mysterious silhouette.
Well, now, a big fluorescent light’s shining on that silhouette, revealing what was once so frustratingly-hidden in the shadows.
Behold… Zorua, and its bigger, meaner, sleeker evolution Zoroark.

Most leaks come courtesy of a poorly-maintained faucet, but this one drips along to us from Japan’s CoroCoro magazine by way of IGN. If you can read Japanese, you’ll find a few more hints in the clipping to the left about these two Dark Type Pocket Monsters, who you’ll finally get a chance to catch once the 5 Generation of Pokemon RPGs hit here.
Actually, depending on which one reaches our fair shores first (or which you can get super-secret-import access to earlier), you might get to see Zoroark before those RPGs hit, because the “evil fox Pokemon” will appear in the forthcoming POKEMON movie #13.
So how this duo stack up to previous teased Pokemon, oh maniacal Anime Vice community? Do they live up to the anticipation, or are you feeling a downer after a bunch of empty hype? Let your feelings be known!
