New Pokemon Movie Involves "Evil" Ash

As if we couldn't find enough reasons to overwhelm the screen with more Pokemon, a new movie has been announced recently, and features a 2nd, darker Ash. Of course, if you take heed of our warnings, you'll realize that all pokemon are darkspawn, and that their corrupting influence makes everyone evil... but that's another issue entirely.
 
The Phantom Champion Z, 13th movie in the franchise comes from the Diamond/Pearl line. Though it is notable that each Pokemon featured was from the Gold/Silver line. This makes sense when you account for how Japan recently released HeartGold and SoulSIlver remakes of the originals. Oh, yeah, and the Celebi time travels, in case you needed more plot/justification/whatever to let you get excited about getting to see some old faces.

 The full trailer follows, filled with poke-splosions, and finishing off with some Ash on Ash action. Hot.

It has been scientificly proven and mandated by federal law in all major nations that ALL evil clones have a goatee. How else are you supposed to know they are evil?

I knew the Pokemon series was running out of good ideas, but an evil clone. That's just hitting the bottom of the barrel.

@OmegaMekix: Oh man, I find evil clones to be like... the greatest plot arc's ever. Outside of comic books mind you... *shudders at the thought of spider-man*

I know eh? I was fumbling for my camera when I saw her, while getting ready to leave at the end of the first day of Fan Expo. Having someone else dressed up as Ash from Pokemon in the same Original outfit was just an awesome coincidence. Although he was confused at first especially when a bunch of us passing by asked the two to do that pose because I guess he never saw Evil Dead 2 or Army of Darkness and didn't get the reference.

I'm not saying that anything with an evil clone is going to be bad but Pokemon hasn't been very creative recently so I won't be surprised if this fails.
