Inspired by the romantic thread (Is Natsu's relationship with Lucy going be like Haru and Elie's?), I have another burning question. I couldn't fit Iris in the title, but we will include her and future girls because the Pokemon games will never stop making new Pokemon!

It's about a boy named Ash Ketchum and his pet mouse named Pikachu who is a 10 years old forever and traveling the world to become a Pokemon Master. In his journey, he picks up hitchhikers mostly girls. Each season or two (more like region in the land of Pokemon), the girl ditches Ash, and another girl comes by into Ash's group.

The cycle continues.

1. Misty - Kanto, Orange Islands, and Johto.
2. May - Hoenn and Kanto
3. Dawn - Sinnoh
4. Iris - Unova

Back to the question, which pair seems likely to work out in the end? [since Ash is pretty much an oblivious guy just like every Shonen hero (IE: Luffy, Goku, and Natsu)]

I forgot about the audience. Yeah, the little kids shouldn't be thinking about the birds and the bees. Let's see if I can describe Dawn. She is very confident in her abilities and self conscious about her looks. As for her relationship with Ash, she and Ash are mutual since the two help each other improve strategies. They had their spats especially when Ash is pretty dense about Dawn's needs. Like Iris, Dawn finds Ash childish especially when it comes to understanding situation with love. Soon enough, they respect each other. Strangely enough, Ash never took Dawn's strategies with him when going into Unova. For Iris, she and Ash have no interest in each other. They're pretty competitive with each other.

Misty would be the one.

Let's not forget Misty's reaction when Latias/or Bianca kiss Ash in the Pokemon Heroes movie. I couldn't find a good video on it, and I keep finding AMVS.

Edit: Hopefully, the vid had some examples. I haven't watch all of it. I wish it play clips without commentary.

Sorry for the late replies, guys. I was dozing off while doing Fairy Tail and homework.

@takashichea: I can't find it, but Misty does kiss Ash (a real kiss) right after he loses in the Johto League silver conference. In my option that was the real end to Pokemon. Ash had just defeated his rival and he got the girl. The only reason why they went on was to make money.

The answer is clear, it is Misty without a doubt.

Edit: The moment I'm thinking about never happened. I was thinking about the moment they were separating on episode 273 or 275 "Gotta Catcha Later." I guess my Misty Shipping must have warped my television set.

$50 says it's going to be nobody.

What I'd love to see though is when Pokemon is finally unpopular enough for the show to be put to bed, they go into some epic melodrama 13-26 episode arc. Ash develops feelings for the girls, the girls fight over him, Pokemon die, friends are lost, relationships are permanently destroyed, people join Team Rocket for reasons that actually seem valid... and Ash emerges as the best Pokemon trainer ever, but has suffered through so much that he retires, knowing that the title he seeked wasn't worth the death and friendships he went through to get it.
