Iris's Emolga

The third Pokémon that Iris obtained. Emolga is bit Lazy and gluttonous but is a strong Battler.

Iris's Excadrill

The first Pokemon Iris caught when she was young as a Drillbur. While in a tournament Drillbur evolved into Exacdrill and became her powerhouse until losing to Drayden. Because of this loss become ashamed of himself and didn't obey Iris for a while until he regained his confidence in her.

Iron-Masked Marauder

An elite officer of Team Rocket who appeared in the fourth Pokemon film as the villain. He uses a set a new type of Poke Balls called the Dark Balls which brainwash a Pokemon to the point of forgetting itself and attacking without regard.

J

A deadly Pokemon Hunter who has crossed paths with Ash and his friends, quite a few times.

James

Member of Team Rocket who is partnered with Jessie, whose determined to steal Ash's Pokemon.

James's Cacnea

A Grass type Pokemon James caught while in the Hoenn Region after releasing his Weezing. Cacmea had a habit of smothering James whenever it came out of it's Poke Ball. Cacnea was later given to Gardenia so that it could improve it's skills and get stronger.

James's Carnivine

A Grass type Pokemon that James owns.

James's Chimecho

A Psychic Type Pokemon belonging to James.

James's Mime Jr.

A Psychic type Pokemon belonging to James.

James's Weezing

A Poison type Pokémon owned by James.

James's Yamask

A Yamask James caught while in the Unova region after giving it some food.

Jasmine

She is the Gym Leader of the Olivine City. She specializes in using Steel type Pokémon.

Jessie

Member of Team Rocket, Jessie is always after Ash and his friends' Pokemon. With her comrades Meowth and James, she uses her Pokemon for bad intentions, and is always making clumsy mistakes to make her lose her goal or intention.

Jessie's Arbok

A Poison type Pokemon that is owned by Jessie.

Jessie's Dustox

A Bug/Poison Type Pokemon belonging to Jessie. She originally caught her as a Wurmple while in the Hoenn region. While in the Sinnoh Region she released her during the Dustox Crossing so she could start a family.

Jessie's Seviper

A Poison type Pokemon that Jessie (Musashi) caught while in the Hoenn region.

Jessie's Wobbuffet

Wobbuffet is a blue-colored stiff Pokemon. A Psychic type Pokemon who doesn't attack directly. He does absorb attacks directed at him and counters.

Jessie's Woobat

A Woobat Jessie caught while in the Unova region.

Jessie's Yanmega

A Yanmega belonging to Jessie.

Jessiebelle

A wealthy woman and James future fiancée. He is afraid of her and is the reason why he ran away from home and joined Team Rocket.

Jigglypuff (anime)

Jigglypuff is a recurring wild Pokémon character in the anime, carrying a marker pen it sings into like a microphone.

Jimmy

A Pokemon trainer from the The Legend of Thunder Special. He is the anime counterpart of Gold.

Jirachi

A legendary Pokemon that only appears once every 1000 years from a comet. It has three tags on its head, and when written upon, Jirachi will wake, and grant all three wishes.

Johanna

Dawns mother who was once a top cordinator in pokemon contests.

Juan

Juan taught Wallace everything he knows, and gave him the Sootopolis City gym-- only to take it back later. He uses water Pokemon.

Jupiter

One of Team Galactic's four Commanders.

Kaede

She is is a member of Team Rocket. She is also a childhood friend of Gym Leader Ericka.

Karita

One of the residents of Eindoak who is the younger sister of Dred Grangil.

Kenny

A Pokemon a Coordinator who is a childhood friend/rival of Dawn.

Khoury

A Trainer from the Johto region who is good friends with Lyra.

Koga

Koga is the Leader of the Fushia City gym he uses poison Pokemon and he practices Ninjutsu. He eventually became a member of the Elite Four later on in the series.

Lance

A member of the Kanto elite four who uses Dragon type Pokémon who later becomes a Pokémon League Champion.

Lance's Gyarados

The red scaled Gyarados trained by Lance

Langley

A Pokemon Trainer and Iris's rival who is called a Dragon Buster. She challengers Dragon Masters or Dragon Pokemon Trainer's in order to beat them with her Beartic.

Lenora

The Gym Leader of Shippou City who specializes in training Normal Type Pokemon, she resides in Nacrene City and is an archaeologist for the local Museum.

Lila

A Famous Pokemon Coordinator who was Johanna's Friend/Rival when they were young. She is also known for Developing Contest Master Wallace's outfits.

Lily

Hiori's, long lost twin sister who was kidnapped by Team Galactic when she was five years old.

Lily

She is one of Misty's three sisters, and one third of the Cerulean sisters, she was also co leader of the Cerulean gym.

Liza

Liz is half of the Mosdeep City Pokemon Gym leaders duo. She leads the gym with her brother Tate; they use psychic Pokemon.

Liza

The caretaker of the Charicific Valley who allowed Ash's Charizard to stay and train with the other wild Charizard she takes care of.

Lola

Brock's mother who specializes in training water type Pokemon.

Looker

A member of the International Police who was sent to Sinnoh to track down and stop Team Galactic. After finishing his task Looker was sent to Unova (Isshu) to investigate Team Plasma.

Lorelei

A member of the Kanto Elite Four who specializes in training Ice type Pokemon.

Lt. Surge

Lt.Surge is the 3rd Pokemon gym leader, in Kanto he is in fact the only American in the Series. He uses Electric Pokemon Most Notably a Raichu.

Lucian

A member of the Sinnoh Elite Four who specializes in training Psychic type Pokemon.

Lucy

A member of the Hoenn Battle Frontier who is known as Pike Queen Lucy (Tube Queen Azami).

Luke

A Pokemon trainer whose dream is to create movies.

Lyra

A Pokémon trainer from Johto who Ash and his friends met while in Sinnoh.

Mako

She is an ambitious news reporter who is desperately trying to discover Pokémon 7's real identity

Marble

A young Officer Jenny Ash and his friends encountered in Episode 59 of Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl.
