This is a place where Pokémon can get healed and get nourished.
There is a Pokémon Center in almost every town and is run by a Nurse Joy, who is always accompanied by a Chansey. They are primarily used to heal Pokémon in the various video games, anime, and manga. In some episodes of the anime, they also seem to serve as shelter for travelling trainers, as well and they are sometimes shown as serving various other functions such as offering video phones for communication; Ash often calls Professor Oak or his mother from a Pokémon Center.
