With the arrival of the new year, Kouta seeks to start the new year off on the right foot by re-establishing his calm, peaceful lifestyle. But with both Chizuru and Nozomu redoubling their efforts to make him choose them as his true love, Kouta's plans for a quiet start to the new year are shattered. He decides to attend the New Year Festival at Nishino Shrine with the two of them, but stress, women issues, and misfortune just might make the start of this year too much for poor Kouta!
