The act of wearing clothes commonly associated with the opposite gender.

Crude Humor

A style of comedy that takes a crass and politically incorrect approach to topics considered to be taboo, indecent, or impolite such as sex, violence, bodily functions, pedophilia, race, death, gender, sexual orientation and things that would generally be considered offensive if made light of.

What someone does when upset/sad. Sometimes people can also cry from sheer joy.

Fatherhood as a concept. A man who has conceived or raised a child.

The character knows well how to defend him or herself.

The act of catching fish, usually with a rod and reel. Is often seen in any anime that takes place outdoors or in settings in the past where fishing was a valuable skill needed to gather food.

Flashback

Used frequently in Anime to either recap past events or provide a back story for a character, either their origin story or their off-screen training of new attack. Sometime and entire episode/chapter would be a entire flashback.

Fortune Telling

A fortune teller is a person with divine or magical powers who can tell various bits of personal information about an unknown person. She/he can tell the future, more often she/he can see one of many potential futures. Sometimes objects like tarot cards, tea leaves, crystal balls are used to assist the fortune teller in his/her reading.

Gainax Bounce

The "Gainax Bounce" refers to breasts bouncing around gratuitously in anime, often in ways that seem to defy physics.

There is a particular genre of anime, usually shounen, devoted entirely to the playing of various games, such as mahjongg, Go, etc. These anime may also be tie-ins for CCGs.
