Persona 4: The Animation is an anime based upon the popular PlayStation 2 game. People are going missing in the rural-town of Inaba. A team of high school students discover a world within the TV that is linked to the murders.

Make sure to send Funimation a link to the Endurance Run so when they dub it, they'll keep Charlie's name as Charlie Tunoku

I heard they are not going to adapt the whole storyline. If so, that is dumb.

Talking Charlie aside, I'm not liking how they're having the Critical image in the show at all.  It just seems like a cop-out.  I'm still interested in how they'll deal with any optional Social Links through the show.   
 
Also, though this may be just a thing I want to see, but wouldn't it be interesting if Charlie failed to save one of the people just to have Igor do his Groundhog Day routine.  It would be some great set up for any of the potential love interests.  Kind of like a "I'll never let that happen again" sort of plot point.

I don't like the de-saturated style as much as the full color that occurs in the non-cutscene animation/characters. I understand that that's the style they use in most of the fully animated sequences- but I'm a bigger fan of the vibrant still images they produce for concept art and the like. 
 
They could run with a plot related gradual desaturation as things get closer to the rainy/foggy days- but that's the only reason I can see for such a lighting choice.

I'm going to be disappointed when this isn't exactly as envisioned by Vinny and Jeff in the Endurance Run.

you know I probably wouldn't even consider watching this, if I hadn't watched the endurance run. The animation looks sort of stiff..
 
Maybe I just don't like the trailer. It sort of looks like they're selling it as an action adventure anime, while ignoring the social links and real-world events. I sort of wish they went with the "You have just been transferred to a new school and stay with your uncle. But something is up with this Midnight Channel." 
 
Honestly I imagine the pacing and flow of the show was really hard to figure out. Especially since you're converting a 70+hour game into maybe 24 episodes. It'll be interesting to see how it tries to balance real-world vs. in-the-tv, and what direction the series decides to take :S

I might watch it if they actually called him Charlie Tunoku in the English dub (if one is made). Also of course the video game voice actors would have to be the voice actors.

I hate the name Charlie. Probably since I didn't name my guy that. Plus it's just a dumb name anyway.
