Persona 4 The Animation - The Factor of Hope - (2012)

Persona 4 The Animation - The Factor of Hope - is an edited theatrical release of the Persona 4 The Animation series that began airing in the Fall of 2011 through Spring 2012. The story is based upon the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 video game that was created by ATLUS for the PlayStation 2. It was directed by Katsuro Hashino, and character design by Shigenori Soejima. This 90 minute film recaps the events from the 25 episode long run of the anime series but with some new cuts of footage included. It will also include the un-aired 26th True Ending episode.

The original Japanese release is scheduled for June 9, 2012, and it was only released to a total of ten theaters throughout Japan in regions such as Kanto, Nagoya, and Osaka.

• ¥2,000 ($25 USD) advance ticket purchases when this was originally released received a poster of the films main promotional image that had a printed signature by Daisuke Namikawa, the voice actor for Yu Narukami.
• ¥1,500 ($19 USD) advance ticket purchases when this was originally released received a set of two postcards adored with Persona 4 art work.
• All who attended the film's limited release received a sheet of Persona 4 stickers inspired by the film.
• At the Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 midnight showing, Daisuke Namikawa, Morikubo, and Kappei Yamaguchi appeared for an onstage greeting. This screening priced at ¥3,000 ($37 USD) and included select airing of Persona 4 The Animation episodes after the movie.
• To celebrate the release of the movie, a special airing of the of Namikawa and Morikubo's Mayonaka Live TV talk show streamed on niconico Live on June 1 at midnight.
