A play depicting the tale of the Queen is the party entertainment. Kiri and Iwai are lead backstage to get into costume for the next act, but this will leave one of them hanging.
While Kiri walks with Iwai, the audience stares at the two. Then, a play is conducted about the origin of the Hair Queen. The two observe some of the Gossip members. Then, Kiri compliments Iwai's dress. A man escort Kiri and Iwai and tells them that they will be assisting with the entertainment. Kiri wears a wolf fur while Iwai has horns for her head. Kiri and Iwai find the costumes weird. Then, Seigi's voice appears and states how the Authors are like wolves that are bent on devouring the Hair Queen. Iwai scolds Seiji for almost killing Kiri. Seigi wants to resume where they left off and drops a cage on Iwai. As he reads the lines, he forms a noose around Kiri's neck. Kiri cuts the noose with his scissors.
As the curtain is raised, everyone watches Kiri's fight with Seigi. Kiri jumps off the cage and attempts to slice Seigi. Then, the audience applause Kiri's fight. Seigi keeps Kiri at bay by pulling the noose while Kiri charges to attack Seigi. From behind, Seigi smacks Kiri with his book, and he reads his lines. Kiri glances over Iwai who holds out her arms through the cage. When Seigi charges at Kiri, Kiri manages to slice Seigi's sides. Seigi tightens the noose around Kiri's neck and raises the rope.
Manga & Anime Differences
- The anime stretches the Kiri and Seigi's battle.
- The anime omits the gossip part that talks about how the infant of the Hair Queen strangle itself with its hair in the mother's womb.
