Creation
The character Panty Anarchy a main character created for the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime series that was produced by Gainax. She and the rest of the cast were designed by Atsushi Nishigori.
She first appeared in Panty & Stocking - Episode 1 "Part 1: Excretion Without Honor and Humanity", and her first manga appearance was in Panty & Stocking Vol. 1 Ch. 1 "?". She was voiced by the Japanese voice actress Arisa Ogasawara, and the U.S. dub produced by FUNimation is done by Jamie Marchi.
Character Evolution
Although she is technically an angel, Panty is an extreme nymphomaniac, quite selfish, an exhibitionist and prone to acts of violence. Her weapon of choice are a pair of panties which transform into a pistol when she removes them.
