Oskar von Reuenthal
Oskar von Reuenthal is a rear admiral in Reinhard's fleet and one of Mittermeyer's close friends.
Reuenthal was born in the Galactic Empire to a noble father and a mother of poor nobility status. His mother married his father for nothing more than his status. Reuenthal was born with a rare condition called heterochromia, where one eye is blue, the other brown. Everyone took this as a sign of his mother's adultery. Ruined she killed herself while trying to pluck Reuenthal's brown eye out while he was still a baby. His father blamed Reuenthal for his death, and hated him every since.
Reuenthal then joined the military and rose through the ranks rather quickly. He saw the military as his only means to keep on living. He was a brillant tactician, with few being able to oppose him. While on the Iserlohn fortress he met Mittermeyer and the two become close friends. Mittermeyer is the only person in Reuenthal's life that he has had a close and normal relationship with. Even with Mittermeyer was detained and if the threat of death Reuenthal did not hesitate to pledge his loyalty to Reinhard, in order to help Mittermeyer escape.
