To be honest, it doesn't make me look so awesome when I put the time into putting Reborn! episode 190 into the Anime Vice database with episode images as well as a review. The reason, my dear Anime Vice community, is because episode 191 begins with a three-minute recap of episode 190 that pretty much proves how little of important content was in that episode. So yeah, take my (and the anime itself's) advice and just skip episode 190 and watch all of episode 191. But for those that did watch? Then please turn to my always-questionable-yet-hopefully-entertaining opinions that begin at the 4:30 mark of episode 191.

Just about the only thing that can make this guy look any cooler is an ultra-powerful ring. And lo and behold, he has one this episode

...Anyway when we last left the Vongola Famiglia, they're all currently on the run from Byakuran's ultra-powerful crew, and the only hope they have is an all-knowing guy who loves his soup noodles. This episode we learn of this man's identity as Mr. (Uncle) Kawahira. Longtime Reborn! fans might remember that this is the man who future I-Pin would always deliver her noodles to when summoned during the early times in the series when it was just a slapstick humor manga before turning into an overblown shonen fighting tale. In other words he's a cool presence on multiple levels, but even still he continues to further impress in this episode. In little time he uses his trusty Hell Ring and chopstick-deployed jutsu to fool the trailing Funeral Wreath, Zakuro, into going to Mr. Fuji to chase a fake presence. It's rare when a character acts this cool in Reborn! without someone on the sidelines explaining to the audience why he's the bees knees and this half of the episode alone was worth watching because of it.

I wondered why Daisy isn't a playable character in the latest Reborn! Flame Rumble game for DS, but yeah, I can understand how a guy with instant healing and a bizarre design could only make support character rank

After Mr. Kawahira proves why he's now my favorite character in Reborn! (after Fran of course) we turn to Namimori Middle School where Funeral Wreath Daisy has both a modern day Hibari and a future Dino to battle. All in all, it was a pretty entertaining battle going on here. Daisy makes a crazy Dinosaur-hybrid transformation thanks to a Box Weapon attached to his body and Dino responds with a fancy Pegasus-themed Sky Flame Box. Unfortunately this part of the episode does have some unnecessary commentary by Dino's henchman on the sidelines so be prepared for that. Dino sadly doesn't last long since Byakuran has already seen his power in other parallel universes, meaning he also knows any weakness. The only hope now is Hibari with the unknown-to-Byakuran Vongola Box who decides to help,  thanks to Daisy adding damage to the school property.

It does surprise me that it only took one setup episode for Reborn! to churn out a good episode like this one. Mr. Kawahira shows the Reborn! cast how to send off an enemy with style and we all get to see one freaky half-human-half-dinosaur prove a worthy fight to Dino and Hibari. And since you also get all the good parts of episode 190 in the recap, it's like a buy-one-get-one-free special with this well-executed episode of Reborn!
