Episode Synopsis

After a club meeting Ringo asks Ryoushi what it is about Ryouko he likes so much. He tells her that there seems to be a disconnect between the exterior Ryouko shows everyone, and the real her, but despite that she always works to be stronger. Later on, Ryouko comes across a pair of akitas tied up outside a grocery store. Just as she starts to pet them Ryoushi comes out to pick them up, and she quickly feigns disinterest.

Later on at the Otogi Bank, a girl asks for Ryouko to help her. She's having trouble with an ex-boyfriend. She tells Ryoushi and Ryouko that she's tried to end the relationship but he's been trouble. The boyfriend agreed to end things after seeing her one last time, but she's concerned he's going to force her back. And this is where the Otogi Bank comes in. She wants Ryouko to go in her place and talk to the boyfriend. Ryouko and Ryoushi head to the meeting spot, only to be surrounded by the delinquents of Onigashima High School. Ryoushi is taken out with a cheap shot and Ryouko is quickly surrounded and defeated. A wounded Ryoushi makes his way back to the Otogi bank to tell the others what transpired.

While unconscious a younger Ryouko confronts the present-day Ryouko about living in denial of her feelings. Ryouko awakens tied up in an abandoned warehouse in Onigashima territory and is confronted by the gang members who captured her. She puts up a brave front, but inside is terrified. Before further damage is done though Ryoushi begins sniping at the gang members with a wrist-mounted slingshot from the shadows, and Ringo frees Ryouko. Ryoushi was able to use his akitas, who had taken a liking to Ryouko, to track her to the warehouse.

Ringo hands Ryouko the Neko-Neko Knuckles Revamped (this pair is attached to a battery and acts like a stun gun when they hit a target) and Ryouko joins the fray dispatching thugs left and right freely with the knowledge that Ryoushi has her back. The rest of the Otogi Bank arrive to help clean up the mess. The others comment that the teamwork Ryouko and Ryoushi exhibit is clearly a sign of love. Ryouko flatly denies it all. The gang leader re-enters the equation and Ryouko takes him out, but only temporarily. He grabs Ryouko and rips off the Neko-Neko Knuckles. Ryoushi calls him out and the gang leader comes at him fiercely. Ryoushi is able to block and dodge almost all of his attacks however, and in the end lands a KO punch in the same place Ryouko did earlier.

As he passes out, Ryoushi exclaims "I am a hunter, the one who captures her will be me"
