An idol who is bored with life. He gets drawn into the Psyren game and ends up gaining the powers to heal others.
Oboro is a Japanese television and movie star who is adored by many. However, he still found his life dull and lacking and desired more that anything to make his life more exciting. Normally, he is very polite and personable due to always being in the public eye. But when he gets into a battle in Psyren, he becomes rather cold and sadistic like when he horribly deformed a tavoo instead of simply killing it just to test out his powers.
Oboro is a very quick learner. He was able to use Rise well simply by watching his friends do it and caught a Rise expert completely off guard with his speed.
His main ability is cure. Though not nearly as proficient as Van or Ian, Oboro is still a naturally good healer. However, this is not his only ability. While in Psyren, Oboro learned a number of new and dangerous abilities. One is called Biological Ruin in which Oboro focuses his cure ability into another organism but instead of healing them, deforms their bodies horribly until they are a hideous blob of flesh. He also has the power of Cell Wall Destruction where by simply touching his opponent, he can completely vaporize their flesh until there is nothing but a perfect skeleton left.
Oboro also took his power to the extreme after he learned to use Harmonious. This is where he gains the ability to fuse his body with that of a tavoo. He began by assimilating numerous tavoo cores into his body and gained increased speed and strength from them even though it is normally impossible to have more than one in a body with out killing the host. Oboro can also fuse with a live tavoo's body and control it, turning them into a mere weapon.
