Nunnally Lamperouge
Nunnally Lamperouge is the direct younger sister to Lelouch. She lost use of her legs in the attack that murder of her mother. The trauma of witnessing assassination also robbed her of her eyesight.
She is a very sensitive character is series that has a rather interesting array of personalities. Nunnally is the person that Lelouch cares about very much, and is the reason that he is trying to make the world a better place. In his quest to perfect the world for her he ends up going against her in order to topple the Empire of Bitannia, to whom she stays loyal to the whole time. She is one of the only characters that Lelouch refused to use the Geass on, but ultimately he ends up using it on her to complete his plans. Eventually her sight is recovered, but she still mourns the loss of her brother, who was the only person that was ever understood her. For some reason Lelouch is extremely hesitant to lie to her, and is repeatedly seen stating his rationale for his actions for Nunnnally, and that he has never lied to her. She is arguably the only reason for his choice to take action. Nunnally provides comic relief at certain parts of the story, but is clearly central to the dramatic build-up.
