A man that aids Jotaro in his adventure after he was released from Dio's mind control.
Noriaki Kakyoin is a Japanese student who was visiting Egypt with his family. When Dio senses Noriaki's Stand powers, he asked for a demonstration, leading to a confrontation. Noriaki was defeated and brainwashed by Dio using the flesh buds. He went to Japan to kill Jotaro under Dio's commands.
Noriaki Kakyoin is created by Hirohiko Araki as a minor antagonist whose role changed to a supporting character. He is likely named after the Kakyōin neighborhood of Sendai's Aoba Ward. He is voiced by Hirotaka Suzuoki.
He currently makes four appearances in the franchise:
Noriaki Kakyoin is tall and slim man whose hair is brownish red. His hair style consists of two short bangs in the middle. His hair is ragged and unrefined. He has a long hair on his right side where he just hangs it out. His attire is consisted of a green school uniform with gold buttons and wears 2 earrings with the shape of a red ball on each ear.
Noriaki Kakyoin is cold in nature but have a good heart. He's very friendly with strangers. Noriaki Kakyoin couldn't become friends with people because he couldn't relate with anyone with powers like him. He is straightforward and ready to fight anything anything that's considered evil. Kakyoin is also intelligent as he can adopt to difficult situations.
He has a strange habit of playing cherries with his tongue as he eats them.
Noriaki Kakyoin is overall friendly with his friends As he enjoys their companionship. At first, he didn't want to have any friends but during his journey, he opened up his heart gradually. He's also fond of his parents. In the Joestar group, he shares a roughly equally relationship with everyone.
While Jotaro leaves for school with girls chasing him, Noriaki paints a portrait of Jotaro. With one swept of his paint brush, Noriaki cuts Jotaro's leg, causing Jotaro to fall over the stairs from the shrine. During a confrontation at school, Noriaki tries to take the nurse as a hostage via possession. Jotaro manages to save the nurse by kissing her. His stands pulls Noriaki's Hierophant Green from the nurse's throat. When Noriaki believes he has Jotaro binded and defeated, Jotaro breaks free and pummels Noriaki's stand furiously. After Noriaki is brought home by Jotaro, Joseph and Jotaro helped free Noriaki from the Dio's control by removing the flesh bud. Once Holly falls ill due to being incapable of using a Stand, Noriaki joins Joestar's group on their journey to Egypt to stop Dio.
On a plane, the group gets attacked by Gray Fly. Noting his abilities is the best method to fight the Gray Fly without hurting the passengers, Noriaki manages to distract Gray Fly with Emerald Splash as his tentacles crawl all over the passengers' feet and find the real Stand user. Noriaki defeats Gray Fly by impaling him. However, Gray Fly manages to kill the pilots with his last breath. This causes the plane to crash near the coast of Hong Kong.
During their trip in Hong Kong, they run into Polnareff who attacked them. Avdol defeats Polnareff, and they recruit Polnareff in their group. On the way to Singapore, the group gets attacked by two enemies at sea, Dark Blue Moon and Strength. Both enemies were defeated by Jotaro. Upon arriving in Singapore, Noriaki and his group try to find Dio. Using Hermit Purple, they find the next Dio agent is Noriaki. This undermines the group's trust of Noriaki. However, Jotaro defeats Noriaki impersonator who is Rubber Soul, clearing Noriaki's name.
In India, Noriaki's group arrives where Hol Horse and J. Geil attacked them. Upon learning J. Geil is the one who murdered Polnareff's sister, Avdol tries to advise Polnareff from recklessly chasing after the man. However, Avdol is slain during the battle against Hol Horse and J. Geil. Noriaki is furious at Polnareff for not taking Avdol's death seriously. Though, he changes his mind once he saw Jean crying over Avdol's death. While Hol Horse goads Jean into attacking him, Noriaki warns Jean not to give in to his rage. Noriaki urges Jean to retreat and think of a plan. The two take a truck and flee the scene with J. Geil's Stand in pursuit. Knowing J. Geil's Stand can travel from reflective surface to another, Noriaki and Polnareff have difficulty shaking the enemy Stand off their tail, let alone defeat it.
Once Jean and Noriaki reaches a young child, Jean manges to kick sand into the young boy's eyes, causing J. Geil's Stand to escape. Noriaki and Polnareff realizes that J. Geil cannot survive without reflective surfaces. After Polnareff injures the enemy stand, the two follow the man screaming to another area where a crowd tries to surround them. J. Geil attempts to use the reflective surfaces of the crowd to kill Noriaki and Polnareff. Flipping a coin in the air, Noriaki manages to trick the crowd to look up at the coin. Polnareff kicks up sand to cause one of the men to blink. Once J. Geil's Stand leaves the man's eyes, Noriaki slices the Enemy Stand, and he defeats J. Geil. He allows Polnareff to get revenge, letting Polnareff pummel J. Geil.
After an onslaught of enemies, Noriaki's group finally leaves India and arrive to Pakistan. When Steely Dan kills Enya and plants a Stand inside Joseph's head, Steely Dan has Jotaro be his servant by threatening to kill Joseph. Any attacks on Steely Dan will transmit to the host where his Stand occupies. While Jotaro buys time and keep Steely Dan from getting injured, Noriaki and Polnareff assist Joseph by shrinking their Stands to get rid of Steely Dan's Stand. The battle proves difficult as the Lover Stands keep multiplying as both Polnareff and Noriaki attack the fakes. During the attacks, Noriaki has his Hierophant Green spread its tentacles, finding the real Lovers. He shoots the real Lovers in the head, causing extreme injury to Steely Dan. When Steely Dan attempts to run away and use a little girl as hostage, Noriaki has his tentacles stop Lovers by tangling it up. Jotaro defeats Steely Dan.
In the desert, Noriaki confronts another enemy, a Stand that appears in dreams. After waking up from his nightmare, Noriaki spots a boy grieving over a dead dog, the same dog he saw killed by Death 13 in his dream. While Joseph tries to buy a Cessna (an airplane) from a man, a woman proposes that Joseph's group deliver the baby to a doctor at their destination. Noriaki spots the child smiling evilly once Joseph's group accepts the woman's request. On the airplane, Noriaki tries to warn everyone about his dream. He learns from Death 13 that one's memories get erased after waking up as well as he cannot wake up himself because Death 13 controls his mental energy as long as Noriaki sleeps. After plane crash, Jotaro's group stops for the night. Noriaki finds a message carved into his wrists, realizing he wrote them in a dream in order to not forget. Noriaki is unable to stop the infant because of his group finding his behavior strange. Once the gang fall asleep, Noriaki tries to save his group. During the struggle, Noriaki manages to have his Hierophant Green goes inside Death 13, forcing Manish Boy to choose death if he tries to cut Hierophant Green and his Stand. With the battle over, Noriaki punishes the baby by scooping poop in the baby's food. He watches Polnareff feed the food to baby, not knowing what Noriaki did to the food.
Heading to an island in the sea between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Noriaki's group reunites with Avdol who pretended to be dead. Only Polnareff was left in the dark. Upon arriving in Egypt, Noriaki's group receive a new member, Iggy. They get attacked by N'Doul. During the fight, Noriaki gets his eyes scratched by N'Doul's Stand, incapacitating him for a while. He and Avdol recuperate in a hospital.
Hierophant Green appearance is that of a humanoid, Robotic stand. He's body skin is green which is clad with white armor. This stand is not solid as the body is somewhat liquid in nature.
Hierophant Green is considered a long range stand. the stand main ability is entering into the body of his opponent and controlling him. By inside the enemy he can also destroy his internal organs. Hierophant Green body in consisted of what seems to be multiple strings as he can stretch his body or unncoil it to avoid and damage to Kakyoin. He can also extend multiple string around his surroundings to detect any movment. Hierophant Green most powerful attack is unleashing an energy that's resembles diamonds.
