A renowned character designer for light novels and visual novels.

Noizi Ito (also romnizable as Noiji Itou) is an extremely popular artist and illustrator best known for her work on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana light novel series, both of which have also become popular anime and make user of Ito's character designs.

Ito is also a member of the doujinshi (self-published manga) circle Fujitsubo-Machine, and is employed by eroge developer UNIsONSHIFT.

Fujitsubo-Machine has produced some artbooks featured by her. MediaWorks published Guren (January 27, 2005), Kaen (August 7. 2007), Soen (10 August, 2009), and Haruhi-ism (April 30, 2009).
