So I had this idea, and it was inspired by the age old question of "What can I do to make Gia's life less pleasant?" The answer? A scavenger hunt! Since there are many, many more of us "not going" to Anime Expo than "going" I figured it would be entertaining to make them jump through hoops for our entertainment.
This is a photo scavenger hunt. Everyone can play, but there are no prizes, other than the undying affection of your peers.
The Rules: The players are divided into two teams, those at expo, and the "home" team. However, this isn't rocket science. The home team comes up with things to find, and the expo team photographs as many as they can find.
"Cosplay from Death Note" - too easy
"Crossplay from Death Note" - Good!
"Misa Aname Cosplay" - Not bad, but easy.
"Misa Crossplay" - Too particular
"Pedo Bear" - Good
"Tentacle Monster" - Too easy
"Tentacle Monster doing something funny" - Perfect
"Picture of Gia buying Yaoi" - Good
"Picture of Vice user with cosplayers" - Good
Method to the Madness
Since we're trying to make the expo team jump through hoops, we'll be doing this everyday , starting Thursday. Listing, say, 5 items they need to photograph that day, on Friday we'll highlight their findings, and list the next five items .
Well, that's everything. Let's get to brainstorming.
"An Eden of the East cosplayer but preferably take the picture with a cellphone" - that way I can photoshop it to make it look like they've got the Eden system analyzing them.
"Cosplay of characters from a Type-Moon series. Bonus points if it's from a series that originated before F/SN" - (DDD, Kara no Kyoukai, Melty Blood, Tsukihime, etc.)
"Gundam cosplay" - as in characters dressed as Gundams; characters don't count unless they're part of OZ.
And double bonus points if it's a group of course.
Gundam (robot) cosplay is great, and we could definitely get a cute shop of something eden on.
I know it wouldn't be a normalized concept, but I want to see a Lelouche with the Death Note
