WTF Wednesday: Funny Subtitles

How many times have you turned on your favorite anime (fansub), and noticed something weird, funny, misleading, or otherwise wacky happening in the subtitles? Of course you have, for me it happens almost every day. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not angry at fansubbers for their crazy rules and bad grammar, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have all these funny pictures to show all of you. (Plus I'm not the god of grammar, if you know what i mean)

This WTF Wednesday is all about funny subtitles, anything goes here. Whether they are out of context, grammar mistakes, translation errors, fansubber snobbish behavior, or overall awesomeness, they will appear here in this gallery. Enjoy!

So many are wrong on so many levels that they are hilarious.

I particularly don't understand the ones where they, for some reason, don't feel like translating the Japanese (like the thank you very much, etc.) but do so in a translation note. Why not just do it to begin with? At least grammar mistakes sometimes are just that - mistakes, and some of those are funny probably just because that's what the dialogue was.
