WTF Wednesday: Facial Expression Training Charts

See what your favorite character looks like crying!

Have you ever wondered what a certain anime character looks like in different emotional states? Wondered what it would look like if Konata was sad, Lelouch smiling, Dante being horny? Worry not! For now you can indulge your curiosity with this week’s WTF Wednesday: Facial Expression Training Charts! Here are a large number of Pixiv charts that show a certain character drawn with 12 different facial expressions.

The top row is: expressionless (or average state), smiling, angry, sad. The second row is: crying, shy, impatient, surprised. And the last row is: submissive, dominant, being in front of someone you like, and being in front of someone you dislike. Now that you know how to read the charts, jump right in and see the emotion first hand.

I like Konata's grid. Yuki's was also fun. I also would of liked to of seen Lelouch's reactions. For such a passive guy. His reactions to things are very funny. Kallen as well.
