Well, that wipes the Trigun flick out of the running on what movie Madhouse has on delay-- Sakura-Con has announced that they're going to offer up the world premiere of Trigun: the Movie -Badlands Rumble-, and in addition they'll be hosting Satoshi Nishimura, director of the Trigun TV anime and film (and Hajime no Ippo), and animator Takahiro Yoshimatsu, who's worked on everything from Trigun to Fullmetal Alchemist to Di Gi Charat.
SakuraCon's Twitter feed also hinted about something Haruhi-related going on...
"Love Trigun or Haruhi? Then you'll wanna get to Sakura-Con this year!"
...Surely it couldn't be a premiere for The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya as well? If not, perhaps more announcements relating to the second season (or a license of the film)? Or maybe just a Haruhi-related guest or event. Only time will tell!

If you are at Sakur-Con get really to wait in line to get tickets to see the new Trigun movie you are going to have to at least wait 8 to 10 hours in line for them. This is just my opinion.
Assuming you can stand the people in line with you.
I Wonder if this year's Sakura-Con commerical is going to become a meme as well or if they will try to reference the last one for the lulz.
cool
Good point.
