What Time is it? Let Me Check my EVANGELION Watch

Or my KAMEN RIDER watch!

Have you ever been stuck in a situation where you had to wear boring non-anime related clothing for hours on end? Yes, we all have. However, this will no longer be a problem since Gainax has given us the ability to wear a piece of otaku on our wrists with two new G-Shock watches. An Evangelion Unit 01 watch, and a Rei plug suit watch. If that wasn’t awesome enough, Casio  is also releasing a Kamen Rider version as well.

The Evangelion watches will be released in August for around 19,950 yen (about $200), and the Kamen Rider watch will be released later in January for 23,100 yen (about $235). A purple watch can seem odd, but can be pulled off with the right clothing and the right attitude. Though only true men can wear the Kamen Rider watch; I’m sorry it’s in the watch’s contract.

No, it's a product from Casio.  That's like saying Burst Angel released Blu-Rays, which is completely wrong. There is no G-Shock that can release a product, G-Shock is just a trade mark for the extra durable materials they put into it.
 
To me, the purple one looks like a $40 sports watch in kiddie colors, I don't think I'd want to be caught wearing the white one.  If I'm paying $230 for a watch (19950 yen @ 92 yen/USD, plus shipping), I'm buying something made from metal.

Does it tell you when Third Impact occurs? I also wonder if the Unit-2 version curses you out in German at every hour?

Lol, they look like those over sized watches for kids made back in the late 80's early 90's. 
 
JESUS! They want $200+ for these things? *Looks at calender* Wait, this isn't April first. That means they're seriously asking $200 for those things? Wow...

These EVA watches are cute and all, but there is an infamous Evangelion watch that costs like $2000. I have it as an ebay search, hoping that one decade it will reach a price I can afford.

Yeah, I hate to admit it but I agree entirely.

The first Kamen Rider was a human man altered by a secret society bent on taking over the world fights against that society, always riding on his motorcycle. since then there have been numerous Kamen Riders that followed him each one with their own different set of powers.
