What Shows Are You Watching, Right Now? -- THE VICE PIT

A simple question, no? Tom and Matt have been watching very different shows this season, though, for very different reasons, and to very different results.

Marshal Victoryon Feb. 26, 2014 at 8:02 p.m.

Watching so many this season that I have lost track of a few shows an had to play cach up. Would guess a good 20 plus shows. Only droped 4 so far this season to.

Vapovileon Feb. 27, 2014 at 1 p.m.

Currently, I am watching;

  • Kill la Kill
  • Gurren Lagann
  • Fairy Tail

And whatever I find appealing on Crunchyroll at the time. I tend to not like to watch more than 3 anime at once, since they will all start blending together for me, and I really don't want to remember the time when Natsu and Yoko teamed up to fight Ragyo's giant ball of yarn xD.

I've been sick for the past week. I used that time to finish up White Album 2 (enjoyed it) and Eccentric Family (really enjoyed it) and right now I'm watching Nagi no Asura or something like that (it's about mermaid people, kinda shitty on overly melodramatic romance, which is funny considering WA2 is nothing but that and I liked it, but I enjoy everything else about it).

For new stuff, I'm not watching anything that premiered this season. Nobunagun is in my queue to get around to watching eventually because the Crunchyroll picture for episode one is someone screaming like a psycho and that caught my eye. Xedel or something like that (kidservice show Tom wrote about) is on my list because it seemed like a goofy comedy I haven't seen one of those in a while. There's something else in my queue to but I forget what it is now. I'm following some older stuff week to week though. That would be the everpresent Naruto Shippuden, Hunter x Hunter, Saki, and Kuroko's Basketball.

All I'm really (re)watching right now is RahXephon (sorry Sam, but you are dead wrong on that series). Just waiting for my Psycho Pass dvds to ship in March. I'd like to hear the Vice take on Jormomgaud, considering how much you guys love Black Lagoon.

Let's see...

Currently WatchingOn-HoldYet to Try

...yeah, that sounds about right. I watch a ton of TV shows too and sometimes some of the anime I'm watching just slips behind into the on-hold category. There's a bunch from last season I fell behind on too but I won't list those.

Can't wait for the new Fairy Tail anime to start!

@Daniel_Newton:

Witch Craft Works is for you, Daniel. I know your tastes in anime (well not 100%), but I believe the show is for you. It's whacky and full of amusing characters. Didn't know you were into Golden Time. I figured you take up on Strike the Blood since it's very similar to Campione's make up: harem, girls are carnivores, based on a light novel, and battles are solved easily.

Daniel_Newton moderator on March 1, 2014 at 12:55 p.m.

@takashichea: Yeah I was sold on it when Sam talked about it on the Vice Pit, I just haven't checked it out yet.
