Last week's episode: Weekly Sket Dance: Episode #40 - Stakeout Blues

Warning: This article may contain spoilers. Head to CrunchyRoll and watch the episode HERE first.

When it comes to the Quiz Club you really can't anticipate what will happen. Enigman and Quettion find a way to get the Student Council on-board for the Battle Q challenge. Threatening to post a picture that denounces the Student Council in a previous culpable act, all but Agata, Student Council President, play the Quiz Club's games. That's not all, Bossun (using his new masked persona: Bosshuton) joins the game in order to humiliate the players. Daisy, Mimori, Shinba and Tsubaki miserably fail in answering the quizzes correctly. Just then, Agata arrives and saves his comrades by answering all three questions correctly without questions. (Yeah, watch the episode to understand this.)

Afterwards, Akitoshi (Enigman's alter ego) comes to Sket-Dan for love advice. After horribly turning him down back in episode 35, Quettion finally agrees to go on a date with Akitoshi. Once again, his good looks fail him as Enigman worries on everything that could go wrong during his date. Attempting to get him to calm down Bossun gives one of his inspirational speeches that gets Enigman excited for his date. To his dismay, everything he anticipated going wrong happened down to the last detail. Sket-Dan failed their request...

I do enjoy Enigman and Quettion as part of the large cast this series has to offer, but when it comes to their "regular" selves I become easily disinterested. Keep the masks on! Obviously, I don't need to tell you that Sket Dance is always funny and witty. Even the quizzes got me thinking. I tried coming up with the answers myself but was unsuccessful.

I mentioned before that I don't find the Student Council as interesting as other characters in the series, but this time I found them entertaining. I guess it might have been because roles were reversed and the group was the victim instead. I know it sounds demeaning but sometimes I prefer Moe and Roman over the Student Council. Then again, if chibi Daisy were to appear more often I would probably change my mind!

Is it possible for this show's creators to make a bad Sket Dance episode? I don't think they know how. Enigma and Quettion are hilarious and I want their Thinking Time song to become a ring tone. "♫♪ Quettion. Quettion. ♫♪" The only thing this episode needed was more Switch!

Okay. Let's break the silence. Episodes with Enigman is so entertaining! I love puzzles, and the puzzles in Sket Dance is very entertaining. These puzzles were so out of my league that I don't have any idea how to answer them.

All the things that Enigman mentioned happened! Hahaha.

@fijilovesyou: I thought I had the first one of the questions figured out. For a second, I thought the answer was: The Security Guard!

Awesome report!

Weird. Sket Dan didn't do much. It was all about Enigman, Quettion, and Student Council. Since Switch quiz the student council back in ep. 35, Switch, Bossun, Enigman, and Quettion should team up to stump Sojiro. Unfortunately, Hime can't do it.

I was laughing hard when I saw Enigman talking to that photo. He sure likes taking shots of people secretly. If Roman was quizzed, she uses her Otome filter and beat them. I can't imagine what Moe would do. Hime and Momoka versus Daisy and Mimori would be a great idea. I missed the Gachinko Vivage games.

Similarities between Sket Dan and Student Council

  • Daisy and Hime = violent
  • Sojiro and Bossun = leaders
  • Switch and ... - All I can think is the glasses that both Daisy and Switch wears.
  • Bossun and Sasuke = Both are competitive.
