The Good
I have to admit, this chapter was pretty amazing. It clearly shows us what willpower Luffy has, and what he is capable of achieving when his friend’s are in danger. Luffy will not tell the Bluejam pirates where Ace is, no matter how many times he is beaten with iron spiky gloves. He is beaten so hard that even members of the Bluejam crew feel bad for the kid. When Ace and Sabo find out about Luffy’s tight lips, they come to his rescue. But they don’t only rescue Luffy, but beat the crap out of his captor as well; because Ace never runs away from a fight. This is a very interesting flashback because it is inverse of the past Ace rescue ark. This is one of the reasons why Luffy gave his all to rescue Ace, because Ace gave his all to rescue him. In the end they all put their differences aside and became friends, which I thought would come later in this flashback, but I’m expecting things are not going to remain this cheery for long.

It would of been nice to of seen more of Ace's fight, but you know when the anime reaches this point. We will see plenty of it. It used to be that the anime would stick very close to the manga and two chapters used to equal an episode. I really start to get the feel that the anime now is almost filling in parts that Oda wanted to do more of, but couldn't because of time.
Talk about timing. I just made that Celestial Dragons profile tonight. The only Celestial Dragon character that already had a profile made was Saint Shalria. Seeing how they play apart in the next chapter. It makes me wonder how much we would see of Luffy. Since he didn't seem to even know what the Celestial Dragon's looked like in Sabaody Archipelago.
I wanted to write some episodes reviews to try and submit them and thought the profiles needed to be made for explanation sake. Glad to see it was able to benefit you as well. I loved that moment when Zoro offered that Charloss one directions. LOL!
