Watch The Last Airbender Super Bowl Teaser Right Now

Get a change of underwear ready!

Excited about Avatar: The Last Airbender? You should be. Take a look at a this super new teaser for the movie that will air this Sunday during the Super Bowl. If you hate M. Night Shyamalan, don’t watch this trailer; because you just might like him after this. I was excited about this movie before, and now my excitement has risen through the roof. The bending powers look extremely well done, let us just hope that they can get the rest of the movie right.

Action and settings look quite faithful to the series. Now there's the matter with what kind of plot the movie has and the music being used.

Ok you got me again. I was worried when i saw the M.night connection to this movie, but after seeing how faithful it is going to be, based on those clips, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Still, its just not going to be the same to hear the uncle character, my favorite of the whole show, with a different voice. Breaks my heart to know that the actor who did his voice died.

@rein:  Iroh's original voice actor, Mako, died from esophageal cancer shortly after he completed his voice work for the TMNT CG-animated movie. Iroh was voiced by Mako during Avatar's first two seasons.

Dude, I'm still worried about M.night's connection. I expect some sort of twist.... like this entire thing takes place in an encampment in present day America, or that the airbender was actually dead the entire time. Though... yeah, that trailer looked pretty awesome

@John_Martone:  Mako was the voice actor of Iroh, Zuko's uncle from Avatar, for the animated show's first two seasons. Before his death, Mako was doing the voice of Splinter for the CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie made in 2006.
