Weekend check in: What's up?
Personally I've just been trying to chug through (as Gia points out) the xxxHolic guide, but I'm also trying to squeeze in the DVDs of Claymore and Dragonaut, Well, that and Saki. Normally its totally okay to fall behind a few days, but Saki ends Thursday... so I kinda want to be there.
Anyhoo, green screen is pretty cool, I wonder what else we can figure out to do with such strange and exciting technology.
What are/were you up to this weekend?

Also watching To Aru Kagaku no Railgun
Best.
Anime.
Of All Time.
I do think you do a bit of a disservice to the audience by only reviewing the first in each series. If someone is interested enough in watching your reviews of the first volume, it doesn't mean they don't wish to see a review of the following volumes.
Only talking about the first volume and never talking about anything following. It's a bit akin to say, talking about the first issue of the Blackest Night DC series and never reviewing any of the following issues.
If I had one critique of AnimeVice it's the lack of video reviews. Look on ComicVine. There is a video review of some book up at least every other day, if not more so. They don't review each and every issue they read for a video. You can talk about some of the events in the manga. I think G-Man often done an excellent job of talking about the events of a comic without spoiling the content of the book.
With the green screen I think it's a good opportunity to start doing more manga reviews. It's a bit too hard to hold a manga to a camera and get a clear image. Now, you can scan a page you wish to discuss and have it on the screen as you talk.
Absolutely. Just wait and see... in the next couple weeks you'll see some nice additions/changes with our videos.
Umm... and deciding which PC I should buy (my current PC is kinda retarded and won't play many games properly!), I think I may have found a good one within my budget, yay!
Nice to hear you're settled in at Whiskey HQ and have you're own green screen! Giant Bomb-style video reviews would be very cool. And we need more videos with the rest of the AV staff! Where are they all hiding?
