Anyway, few American voice actors inspire the response that Vic Mignogna's name does. From the fangirl squees to the reactionary whining, the man is everywhere in the anime fandom.
...But not JUST the anime fandom, as it happens. Word is that Mignogna will actually be directing an episode of Star Trek New Voyages, a fan-produced continuation of the original Star Trek series. The episode is called “Kitumba,” in which Mignogna will also play the villain, but it's not his first role in the fan production: he appears to have played a blue alien commander for the starship Eagle in an episode called “Enemy: Star Fleet” that's due out this June. Unfortunately we only have the teensy pic above of him in the role, but it's pretty amusing.
Turns out Mignogna is a lifetime Trekkie (Trekker? I wonder which he prefers?), judging from the childhood photos included in the announcement...

Oh umm, on topic: I think I actually want to watch this.
RedZ: Don't call Vic Dick, he's not that bad as others i know with the Moniker "Dick".
