Utterly Terrifying (Naked!) Barack Obama Figure

Don't say I didn't warn you.

I'm sure you guys remember the Barack Obama action figure whose images circulated around the 'net a while back-- but recently I stumbled upon this image. I honestly thought it was a particularly good photoshop job and set it aside.

Then pal Randall pointed me to the figure itself on Hobby Search, and confirmation of its existence blows my mind. (It's technically from Hong Kong-based Hot Toys, but it showed up on a Japanese figure site, so it's applicable...right?)

As I warned you in the headline, Obama comes only in his birthday suit. But he's 1/6 scale and as such will fit any 1/6 clothing). So I guess if you wanted to pick up some Barbie or Dollfie attire, you could throw it on Obama here. 

I dare any of you to order one of these and dress it up as a magical girl. I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU. It's due out in August with a ¥4667 SRP (about $50 USD).

Wow, you guys need to get over this guy already. He is black, and got elected to be the president; get over it. It doesn't make him the next god dam messiah or anything, he's still just the newest puppet selected to be in power.

It's interesting how he is apparently set aside as an example of African Americans, judging by what the box says. Not only that, but the "advanced version". lol
 
I like Obama, but I don't think I'd want a figure of him I could dress up.
 
Antarctic Press actually has a comic called President Evil that stars President Obama. In it he's fighting zombies. The publisher is also has shirts for sale that say "Yes We Cannibal". It's a funny slogan, but the image on the front is a bit disturbing.

Thanks... for putting that image in my head. Here I was just going to make a "change" of clothes joke, but now I'm just imagining Obama in frilly dress, hanging out in Ken's beach house.
