User Poll: What Do We Watch Next?

Skip Beat! is over...what should we replace it with?

 Natsume Yuujinchou

This will be a very unscientific poll, but we've got a pretty good stack of shows to potentially watch. I haven't decided what I'm going to show next, but who better to ask than you guys? I'll make the final decision myself, but I want to know what you guys want to watch-- and discuss. So here's the list of shows I'm thinking about.

 Baccano!
 Baccano!
Of course, there are plenty of other shows available online, so feel free to make other suggestions (LEGALLY available shows only, please), but these are the ones that I liked the idea of best. A few notes: Crunchyroll shows are available in more countries than Hulu shows. Also, if we did Slam Dunk, I would probably show the first ~25-26 episodes (depending on when the best time in the series was to stop) for now, so that we can move on to something else still-- it's a 101-episode show, after all!

Right then, speak now or forever hold your peace (until the next show ends).

Either choice 1 or 2, since none of those I'd really want to see are present in the list.
Baku_Senseion Dec. 8, 2009 at 8:38 a.m.
Baccano! My god, choose Baccano!
Also, Gia, I'm surprised you didn't say Slayers.
Sigueon Dec. 8, 2009 at 8:45 a.m.
I'd say Natsume Yuujinchou. It's a great show and Crunchyroll is watchable by a much wider audience than Hulu.
Agent_Loston Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:14 a.m.
As long it not Hulu, it pretty much suck to see the emble video and get the message that you can't not see it because your outside of the US.
I check Crunchyroll, the most that stand out is "Eureka Seven" & the first season of "Code Geass".
HeeroYuyon Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:19 a.m.
I can stand by Slam Dunk or Baccano, since both are incredibly awesome.

EDIT: Better yet, they've got Eyeshield 21 on Crunchyroll, how about that? YA-HA!!!
ThePsychoGameron Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:20 a.m.
Baccano!, such a great anime, look at how happy it makes Ladd Russo.

Only other time this guy get's this happy is when he see's some one who's been violently murdered.

BTW, doue any one else think that in the dub Ladd sounds like Bender from Futurama?
Sombreon Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:25 a.m.
Natsume is stunning. And it's not just another generic Shonen action mess like Naruto/ Bleach. It's just a nice, pleasant adventure.

Also, Madara is superb.
Sigueon Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:41 a.m.
@Sombre: and Reiko is smoking hot.
giaon Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:41 a.m.
@Baku_Sensei: I have to hold on to SOME stuff for later ;)

@Agent_Lost: Unfortunately, not every show on Crunchyroll is one we can embed, sadly. ^^;
Agent_Loston Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:53 a.m.
@gia: ah to bad, well if anyone did not see Eureka Seven or Code Geass you know where to find them.
Chengyon Dec. 8, 2009 at 9:56 a.m.
I would suggest Clannad, Myself;Yourself, Zero no Tsukaima
sunfloweron Dec. 8, 2009 at 10:11 a.m.
I've seen all except Viewtiful Joe, and all four of the others are really good, so I don't care which you choose.  Though if anyone thinks VJ is really good I'd be up for that. :)

Yeah, go with Baccano, I've been meaning to start it, would be a great excuse.
Sadly not licensed in Europe, but oh well.
Lunarmothon Dec. 8, 2009 at 10:27 a.m.
Baccano! is a great and wonderful series. It English dubs has to be one of the best, but it does take place in the States so that make it unique. But, what makes it a great series is its  fine mixture of it humor and drama. So that what my vote for. (Although I wouldn't ever mind watching TTGL again.)
damswedonon Dec. 8, 2009 at 10:28 a.m.
not from the US so none of the Hulu stuff.

Yeah, I second leaving Hulu (unfortunately) in the dust for right now. Our viewing of Gurren Lagann has been slightly mired by a lack ability for everyone to watch it. That said, I'd probably vote for Viewtiful Joe since our last two Crunchy Roll offerings have been less than Action'y. Not that its a problem, but you know, everything in its proper amount.

Baccano! That show is great.

I havent seen Baccano yet so it would be great to start at the same time as you guys even if i`m not in america and probably have to watch it illegally. on the second hand i really want to see some Viewtiful Joe again and i have the first two dvd`s :)
crusader8463on Dec. 8, 2009 at 11:14 a.m.
I vote for anything that isn't on hulu so everyone can watch it. Beside that stupid region lock isn't hulu going to a paid service in 2010? Probably not the best thing to start then.
Lanon Dec. 8, 2009 at 11:41 a.m.
My primary vote is for Baccano; I've been wanting to watch it!!! But I could go with Natsume Yuujinchou or Viewtiful Joe.

Dig Deeper into Baccano!

Primarily set in Prohibition-era America, each of the stories in the series involves several unrelated plots intersecting and crossing each other as events spiral farther and farther out of control.
