Okay, this is a pretty awesome figure of Macross Frontier's Ranka-- the pose, which would normally probably present some balancing issues, looks to have a pretty firm base, it's cute, and it's very active and lively, which I like. She also has an MSRP of approximately $65, making her relatively affordable.
But...I do'nt remember Ranka's Nyan-Nyan restaurant outfit being made out of something as shiny as lamé.
Moving right along, some incredibly adorable chibi figures from Macross F have also been announced. It features the female leads in restaurant uniforms hanging out at the Nyan Nyan cafe, including Sheryl on a spoon, Clan Clan with a thing of shuumai on her head, Ranka with manju, and also Ranka's phone and the restaurant mascot in a rice container. Oh, and there's also Alto in a bowl of ramen, which is awesome and I want it.
But did anyone else notice that that manju looks remarkably breast-like?
And last, I don't have any images for this one, but Bandai has announced another series of trading figures, called “Half Age Girls Macros Heroine.” At least, I assume that's right; HobbySearch calls it “Harf Age.” In any case, it'll be interesting to see if they turn out more chibi or more realistically young. The half-ages are due out in December; Ranka and the restaurant figures are due out late October.
So! Which do you guys want?
But I'm not much of a Ranka fan so I'll be skipping her. Although she would look nice next to my Clan Clan and Sheryl(When she arrives) figures... But I'll probably end up getting Chibi Sheryl and Clan Clan. You can't go wrong with those two.,
