Tuesday is Toyday! Jun Planning In Memoriam

So, since Jun Planning closed up today, I thought I'd put together a collection of some of my favorite Jun Planning figures over the years. They've done a lot of different items over the years, including the Pullip collection of figures-- never a favorite of mine, they're sort of a weird combination of Kewpie dolls and Dollfies.

Jun was never known for its excessively detailed, fine figure-work-- but many its creations were around $50 USD, leaving it (relatively) accessible to fans who couldn't always afford insanely expensive works. On the other hand, every once in a while they churned out something pretty amazing, like this April 2007 Ryuk figure from Death Note.

I'm a total sucker for The Familiar of Zero's tsundere/closet bondage queen Louise, and I'm really sad that Jun Planning's US release of the nekomimi!Louise (and it's sold out in Japan), but they did put out this attractive Louise on a bed with her wand(/switch), prepared to unleash some punishment. I love the garter on her foot, it's a nice little touch.

And the final item I'm going to mention is this Ikki Tousen Kanu Unchou from November-- the mid-motion pose is actually pretty impressive for this level a figure.

Do any of you figure fans have a favorite Jun Planning figure?

Less Louise figures is never a good thing. :(
