Shana's
looking a little odd these days, don't you think? This
is actually a different color release of a previous figure, which had
Shana's fire-red hair slightly see-through. But I don't think I liked
the figure much then, either. Her pose looks incredibly awkward-- the
arched back and hands in fists would sort of imply that she's
yawning, but no one puts fists through their hair while yawning. But
I guess some otaku figure-maker might not know that, unless they'd
had hair that long...also, the gloss on her hair is disconcerting
compared to the matte of the rest of the figure.
And then there's Morrigan. Always my favorite Darkstalker (sorry, Felicia), but this figure is really unattractive, in my opinion. Her face looks really odd; why are her lips the same color as her skin? Though I'm not sure I'd like that super-pursed look even if they did give her a good shade of lipstick. The breasts are fine, even nice, but her hips look insane. I've never been a fan of those super-high-rise leotards, but they accentuate hips that are so far beyond plausible proportion...I mean, you can have disproportionately large breasts, either by nature or by surgery. But hips, not so much. At least this figure has taken into account why and how she'd have her hands in her hair though.

Morrigan on the other hand looks Americanized to me..somehow
