Seeing the other teams, I'm going to go in a different direction for my lineup. But I will still follow the standard as put forth in "It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia." First, "the Brains." Someone who can visualize and carry the perfect plan. Someone who can assert themselves while keeping the a coehsive fight unit. I choose Asuna (Sword Art Online). As the vice-commander in the game's largest guild, she has the skill, experience, and determination to quickly size up a situation and form a competent starategy. Even the game's greatest player said that her speed and skill were unmatched. And I haven't even to mentioned the courage it took to risk her life day after day for years to clear the nastiest of the game's monstorous bosses. Secondly, "the Looks." You need an indivual that can charm their way into information and opportunities that unlock critical avenues of attack. I choose Paprika (Paprika). One, she is one of the most seductive characters ever created (I frequently refer to her as the girl of my dreams). Two, she is a dream psychologist who can cross the dream/reality threshold. My team doesn't need a hacker because she can deduce any password or trap due to her classical training. And if the going gets tough, she can rumble with the worst of them (remember the final fight of the film?), just as long as she can dream a little larger than her opponent is capable of. Next, "the Muscle." The description is pretty obvious so I won't bother with that. I choose Hakura (FLCL). While I would normally save her for my final category (the Wild Card), I feel like she could excel as the muscle of the group. She has an unorthidox fighting style and has survived for years outside of intergalactic law. She could also summon a giant robot to assist her if the there's too much heat for her and her bass guitar to handle. Finally, "the Wildcard." Someone who's personality or abilities make them combustible and creates beautiful havok on the battlefield. This choice is straight out of left field, but I choose Makoto (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time). Now while she is not a fighter, she has one key capability that no one else does, she can go back in time. This would effectively allow the ultimate do-over. She can take the knowledge from the first battle and inform the group of any potential pitfalls. True to the wilcard form, this would make the team utterly unpredictable in the eyes of any foes. My team is a little more cerebral then other teams, but thats what makes it strong. Because ultimately the best weapon, is the one you never have to fire.

This is a quick list I came up with. I'll add more details later. Darn, you guys for taking Erza Scarlet. I couldn't think of anyone else who has the tenacity and brutal strength.

    • For power house, I go with Ichiko Sakura. She packs a wallop with her Soumin Shourai, and she literally has lady luck by her side.
    • For leader, Asuna is the best one. She is the White Flash who didn't really have enough spotlight in the Sword Art Online anime that demonstrates her leadership skills (unfortunately). All I know she is a Mary Stu who can whoop some ass. I have to replace her.
    • For tactician, Anna Kyouyama is the one. She is calm under stressful and chaotic situations, and she can hold her own. If we're talking about past Anna, she can read minds. Though, she lost this ability. Without mind reading, she can whip a solution to any problem.
    • For comic relief, Hime Onizuka is the gal you need. Like Tenten, her tsukkomi knows no bound.

Here's my team! Leader: Miria (Claymore) - Miria is an intelligent fighter. In the series, she leads a group of 6-7 other warriors. She gathers and deduces information well. She is a great fighter and can serve as on-the-ground leader. She has mobility, impressive speed, and strength. Power House: Lena Sayers (My-Otome 0~S.ifr~) - Lena is a very diverse powerhouse. She has insane mobility using speed, flight, and can even travel through space! She has close range fighting techniques and long range capabilities. Tech: Tsugumi (Guilty Crown) - Pro hacker and comic relief, Tsugumi has experience with providing technical assistance during battle. She can hack into enemy systems, disable security, and navigate her comrades through facilities. This was a tough one. I don't know a lot of female techs in anime. Matsu and Ed were already chosen! Tactician: Sumeragi (Gundam 00) - A tactician makes decisions from a distance based on continually changing variables. Sumeragi is excellent at doing just that. In the series, she is a tactical forecaster. She takes into account her teammate's capabilities, the enemy's potential, and the current situation to come up with a strategy. Sumeragi also has charm. What's nice about this team is that everyone will get along!
