Anime:
- Moon Phase reports that Angel Beats!, Key's latest game which is due out this June, will be getting a TV anime adaptation, to be produced by Aniplex. Well, Clannad and Kanon did well enough, so it's probably a pretty safe bet. Especially with its (ahem) somewhat familiar-looking heroine.
- In case you missed it, Aniplex has issued a press release about the Kannagi Nagi-sama fanclub.
- FUNimation has started a new partnership with There.com, a social networking site where you can build your own character (sound familiar?). They've added some Fruits Basket items to the site.
Manga:
- VIZ wants to remind you that it'll be releasing Detroit Metal City; the first volume is (finally!) due out on June 9th. Do want! *heads off to camp out at Borders*
Music:
- JapanFiles has a new Bespa Kumamero release, as well as some information about the band's event at Anime Boston over the weekend.
Okay, bedtime!

As for the new game by key, I shall definitely be checking that one out!
Key's always been a little backwards to me... the first thing I found weird about them is that Clannad, the most fitting of all their games to end up as a hentai, was the only one of theirs to not be one (which is really weird when you compare it to Air...). Now we've got a new game that isn't even out yet getting an anime, when Little Busters hasn't gotten an anime version even though it seems most likely to be the coolest anime they've ever made.
That said, this just made what was already going to be an awesome summer even more awesome.
