Oof, it's been a long day...and with me having to get to the airport in the snow-and-ice-filled morning, tomorrow's not lookin' any shorter. Here are today's tidbits, including a remarkable number of convention-related ones:

Death Note

• It's a good day for Canadian anime fans-- congratulations to you! Now you have access to Pretty Cure on YTV. Well, not now, but starting in first quarter '09. Soon enough, right? In the meantime, VIZ now offers Bleach, Death Note, and Naruto on iTunes Canada.

Cons:

• Newsarama has an interview with Lance Fensterman, one of the amazing people behind New York Comic Con, New York Anime Fest, and now the east coast version of PAX. He's a great guy, and he gives a pretty awesome interview too.
• JapanFiles has announced that Jpop duo Hangry and Angry will play at Sakura Con in '09. The pair share their names with a Harajuku fashion shop and its products and whose personas are said to have come from the future.
• Finally, Anime Expo has announced their first guest for 2009: Yaoi Press's Yamila Abraham. She puts on a hilarious panel, so I'm looking forward to it.

Much ado about cons, eh? Just to give you a heads up, I'll be at New York Comic Con in February-- expect to hear more about it closer to the actual dates. Any of you planning on going?
