The Daily Shin Buun 12/07/08

The Daily Shin Buun (literally "New Buzz;' "shinbun" is also the Japanese word for newspaper) is a collection of bits and pieces of news we've gathered throughout the day.

Well, the day’s already over in some parts of the country, but not in ! So here’s the Sunday Daily Shin Buun, which will be on the short side this time around:

Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist
Anime:
  • The rumored Corda d’Oro sequel anime has been officially confirmed. Meanwhile, the new Fullmetal Alchemist anime had its website open, only to inform us that we’ll get more information on the 12. Thanks, BONES…I guess.
  • TokyoGraph reports that the Okinawa-based girl band Stereo Pony is going to perform a new theme song for Gundam 00. They don’t specify if it’s an OP or ED theme, however. You might remember the group from the Bleach theme “Hitohira no Hanabira.”

Manga:

  • CrunchyRoll has announced a deal with another new company—but this time it’s manga, not anime. They’ll be working with Udon to provide Capcom comics online.

Misc:

  • To those whiners who complain about all the roleplaying threads on the site, keep in mind that at least we’re connecting people to other real people to roleplay. This guy has to roleplay with his Nendoroid Haruhi figure. You can sponsor another geek like him for mere pennies a day—just contact Save the Otaku for more information!

Err, sorry, I’m watching too much TV…all of these non-profit ads seem to be getting to me. Hope you had a great weekend, and see you tomorrow!

More FMA? I loved it, but don't know if I'm ready for more. I find that I tire of something after 50 episodes, but maybe this year-long break will help. :)

FMA news on 12th!? Yeah!  I am excited.

Dig Deeper into Fullmetal Alchemist
