The Catch-Up: Plot
With Earth about to be annihilated, Rossiu has traveled into space with about a tenth of the population aboard Lord Genome's Arc-Gurren. Their idea was to use this ship as a Ark so that humanity can survive and repopulate elsewhere. This plan seems doomed to fail though, since the Anti-Spirals were prepared to destroy anyone escaping the planet.Luckily for the them, Yoko broke Viral and Simon out of the prison. The three of them, along with the remnants team Gurren-dan are traveling out to space to save the Arc-Gurren. After settling their once hatred, Simon offers Viral the pilot seat of the Gurren... an offer he immediately accepts.
Today's Episode:
Seriously? Viral and Simon teamed up and piloting the Gurren Lagann together? Holy crap. I think the only thing that could make me happier would be if Simon's Lagann combined with Enki... but that'd never happen.This episode is the beginning of the end for Gurren Lagann (the series) but this is all pleasure.

Haha, I love it. It's like "you thought Gurren Lagann was big? Well bam! Here's Arc Gurren!" Then for about 10 minutes you think that's huge and "Bam! Look at Cathedral Terra! It makes Arc Gurren look like a bug!"
Viral is awesome. Not as awesome as Kamina but honestly, who is?
That last bit with Nia made me sad. Poor Nia.
My first thought, weirdly enough, was if Yoko was changing the seat's position or messing with the radio presets.
But yeah, this episode dwarfs pretty much every accomplishment in the series yet. 4 more to go!
