The Catch-up: Plot

To cross the ocean, the crew needed to retrofit the Dai-Gurren, but it wouldn't just be fun and games on the beach. The Dai-Gurren comes under attack from both Viral and Lady Adiane, and Simon manages to save the crew, yet its Yoko who saved Nia. Saved, in this instance, means shooting off a huge chunk of her hair. This brings Nia and Yoko closer together though, as she got a really cute haircut from Yoko afterwards.

Today's Episode:

Two generals down, two more to go. Being a princess, Nia never got to do much for herself. Today she tries a hand at cooking. Also, some eagle/bird/dude/thing decides to try its luck against team Gurren.

"You, what's your name?"
"Simon".

Dai-Gurren is insane/wonderfully ridiculous in this episode (got loads of laughs at our screenings on Tuesday).
And of course, this.

I have a question to ask, but I can't get the Spoiler button to work.
 @Zeouterlimits:  Good pic. Cracks me up every time.

@CapeBarnes: Yeah, what's the question? If it pertains to anything prior to this episode (or this episode) you probably don't even need to use the spoiler tag anyway.

@Zeouterlimits: I just liked that Viral was finally confronted with the knowledge of Kamina's death, but I'm a huge Viral Fan. Congrats on finally completing your collection of DVDs btw ^_^

@John_Martone: Thank you sir.
And yes, I like that moment too, everything from Viral's surprise to the foundation of the relationship between Simon & Viral.
