So Gigazine has done several features on products featuring Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, including drinks, noodles, and snacks. I'm not going to copy the whole thing of course, but I did want to pick out a few of my favorites.

My personal favorite drink is the UCC Coffee can with the Petit Eva characters on it. I adore Petit Eva, and not just because its artist, Ryusuke Hamamoto, is a really cool guy who comes out to some of he New York cons. It's just adorable!

Also noteworthy in the drinks is the Mari Illustrious Makinami (seriously, what a middle name. Hippy parents much?) coffee can. I can't help but notice that you don't get to see her little nodes-- the things all the other pilots wear in their hair. But she's definitely decked out as a pilot. Hmm.

Next up are noodles. Mmm, delicious cup ramen. My favorite is the most definitely the char shiu cup ramen. Its box might not feature one of Evangelion's characters, but it has a pull sticker with the Lance of Longinus that corresponds with Unit 00 on the top. As for the food inside, it has fish cakes shaped like AT fields. FISH CAKES SHAPED LIKE AT FIELDS. Who comes up with this stuff? That's brilliant!

And finally, snacks. The AT Field snacks-- which are shaped like AT fields as well –were cute, but I'm going to have to go with the Evangelion Gum Pot, which is basically an EVA-01 head on top of a little jar of cassis-flavord gum. I love cassis. I also love eating gumballs out of giant mech heads. Delicious.
